Compliments!

One thing that I'm still getting used to is my customers loving my makeup.  I had an older lady and her daughter say that they always look for me when they come in, just to see how I did my makeup that day. Now I'm nowhere near a professional makeup artist or anything, but I like to play with colors and combos that some people wouldn't use. I field at least a dozen questions every shift about what makeup I'm wearing...lol...I've even had straight guys notice my makeup and compliment me on it 😊

I've spent most of my day off today working on my website and taking pictures of my makeup for a gallery...lol...I was also going through old photos trying to find my makeup selfies. I think I might have a selfie issue! Anyway, I also put together my Benefit bags to give to certain people. Since it's near impossible for me to throw a get together, I'll take pictures of myself giving them the bags and later post their opinions.

Benefit/Birchbox Party Kit!!

I got my box yesterday!! I was so excited!! Lol... I have a few people in mind who will receive the deluxe samples, but the full-sizers are mine 😜

I even got one of my Etsy makeup orders in. 

I've been looking for the perfect pigments lately, so I've been going through almost all of the makeup companies on Etsy. This was a grab bag for $15 (before shipping) and you have the option of choosing either just makeup, just body care, or both. It looked like they were out of the body care stuff, but I would have chosen the makeup one anyway. I'm wearing the pretty pink and coral pigments today.

Here I am on 2 different days wearing the same shirt and standing the same way. I didn't realize that the weight loss is that noticeable...lol...I'm proud of myself ❤️

Dr. Brandt Pores No More pore refining primer

I received this deluxe sample in my Birchbox subscription ($10 a month). At first I was hesitant about trying it because my skin is very sensitive and I thought something like this would actually clog up my pores and cause acne...lol...so I went ahead and tried it over the last few days, and I must say I'm surprised. It's not greasy in the least and the smell is pleasant and subtle. It does have a bit of tint to it coming out of the tube, but it easily absorbs into the skin. I applied mine with a makeup sponge to avoid getting excess oil on my face.

Today's Makeup

I decided to try some browns and bronzes on my eyes today and this is the end result. Lipstick is Makeup Forever, eyeshadow is Sephora, mascara is Maybelline. Within 20 minutes of walking in to work, I had at least 5 compliments on my makeup 😊

Makeup

I was going through my makeup collection a minute ago and I thought "Damn! I have A LOT of eyeshadow." Lol...I have all the Wet'n'Wild trios, at least 8 of their 8-pan palettes, 5 Loreal Infallible eyeshadow singles, and lots more. I'm gonna have to take pictures someday soon! I have over a dozen different red lipsticks, 2 dozen brushes, 10 tubes of mascara....the list goes on...lol. My best friend, Sara, is just as bad if not worse than I am. I think I'm gonna have to start doing beauty videos. I don't normally like making videos of myself, but there's no time like the present, right?

My newest Ipsy bag! I was going to try out the Sally Hansen Miracle Gel nail polish today, but I kinda got caught up working on my website. I'm also excited about the Be A Bombshell powder. 

And here's a dose of cuteness. Kaisyn kept on putting stickers on my leg...lol
